Meet the Therapist
Tammy, MA, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor that began her service to hurting people in prevention, education, and healing, long before she answered the call as a therapist. Spending years in different settings, she’s helped transform the lives of hundreds of women, men and teens that have been traumatized by sexual and domestic violence; immobilized by depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. She assists them in moving from victim to victory, surviving to thriving, living their purposed lives. She believes her responsibility is to provide every client with the tools needed for their healing journey and to ensure that none of them walk this journey alone. She is committed to garnering support by shining a bright light on the impact of sexual/domestic violence and other mental health issues, through community awareness and education.
She is a graduate of Lindenwood University’s Professional Counseling Master’s Degree program. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University.
Licensure/Education
Tammy is licensed in the states of Missouri and Illinois; her focus continues to be a catalyst for healing from rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse. She is currently pursuing her clinical license for the state of Illinois. She believes she is living in her purpose and has ignited her passion assisting those clients in their healing so that they not only survive but thrive. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), trained in Cognitive Processing, (TF) Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered Therapies.
She is a graduate of Lindenwood University’s Professional Counseling Master’s Degree program. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University.
